The winner of Burnanza will not only earn the legendary title of Burnout Master, their vehicle will also earn automatic entry into the world famous Burnout Masters game for Apple and Android devices. Burnanza 2 is now being held over two massive days from January 30-31. There’ll be twice as much action with two major competitions at the event providing alternative pathways to earning the Burnout Master crown! The first route is via the elite Burnout Masters, and the second route is via the Burnanza Championship. Either way, there are no easy roads!

BURNOUT MASTERS
The Burnout Masters competition field will consist of 25+ cars that have qualified at official events around Australia and New Zealand throughout the 2025 season. This will also include Wild Card vehicles whose selection is based on a combination of performance, x-factor or other high potential criteria. Burnout Masters Wild Cards are awarded at the discretion of officials, judges and tournament administration.
The Burnout Masters competition format consists of two qualifying rounds, followed by a Top 10 Grand Final. Finalists are determined by their best score from either Rounds 1 or 2.
Competing in Round 1 is compulsory. Round 2 is optional and available to competitors who wish to better their previous performance from Round 1. It’s down to how you want to play your cards!
*Please note, you cannot enter Burnout Masters. You must qualify at one of our qualifying events or at Burnanza, via the Burnanza Championship.
BURNANZA CHAMPIONSHIP
The Burnanza Championship field will consist of entries received via the official online entrant portal. These are strictly limited and currently capped at 90 vehicles. Entries will initially be reviewed by event administration, and if accepted, allocated on a first come first served basis. The competition format includes two qualifying rounds with a Top 10 Final.
However! All entrants participating in the Burnanza Championship have an opportunity to jackpot their entry and qualify for the Burnout Masters competition.
A last chance Top 10 Burnout Masters qualifying field will be selected from Round 1 of the Burnanza Championship. Qualifiers will be determined by the highest Round 1 Burnanza Championship scores.
These Top 10 competitors progress to the Burnout Masters Round 1 session the following day. This is a mandatory session. The Burnout Masters Round 2 is optional and available to competitors who wish to better their previous Burnout Masters Round 1 score. It’s down to how you want to play your cards!

STAY ON SITE AND OVERNIGHT!
You don’t have to leave this burnout table. For the first time ever, on-site stays are now available for entrants and up to four crew for Friday and Saturday night! This offer is not available to spectators.
When completing your entry, simply select your site and then nominate how many crew members will be staying with you from the “Add to your entry” menu. Secure your spot for just $99 extra per person for the entire event. This is your pass to the heart of the action.

Here’s the place to find all the key info about Burnanza in the lead up to the event.
1) Do I need gloves?
Gloves meeting SFI 3.3/5 standard are mandatory for all drivers and passengers of Blown and Methanol cars. For all other vehicles, gloves and boots meeting SFI 3.3/5 are highly recommended.
2) Do I need a fire suit?
Drivers and passengers of all Blown and Methanol cars must wear a fire suit. For all other vehicles, a fire suit of a suitable level is highly recommended. Minimum accepted fire suit standard is SFI 3.2A/5.
Drivers of non-blown or non-methanol cars must wear, at a minimum: long pants, long-sleeve shirt, and enclosed shoes. Clothing must be fire-resistant material as a minimum. Absolutely no nylon.
3) What is the difference between the Burnout Masters and the Burnanza Championship?
Burnout Masters: The Burnout Masters field will consist of all cars that have qualified at official events around Australia and New Zealand throughout the 2025 season, plus the top 20 qualified cars from Round 1 of the Burnanza Championship. This will also include Wild Card vehicles whose selection is based on a combination of performance, x-factor, or other high-potential criteria. Burnout Masters Wild Cards are awarded at the discretion of officials, judges, and tournament administration. The format consists of two qualifying rounds followed by a Top 10 Grand Final. Finalists are determined by their best score from either Round 1 or Round 2. Competing in Round 1 is compulsory. Round 2 is optional and available to competitors who wish to better their Round 1 performance—it’s down to how you want to play your cards. Please note: you cannot enter Burnout Masters directly. Burnanza Championship: The Burnanza Championship field will consist of entries received via the official online entrant portal. If you purchased an entry for this event and did not win a Burnout Masters Golden Ticket during the 2025 season, you are in the Burnanza Championship. The format includes two qualifying rounds with a Top 10 Final. However, all Burnanza Championship entrants have an opportunity to jackpot their entry and qualify for Burnout Masters—the top 20 qualifiers from Round 1 will jump up into Burnout Masters Round 1 the following day. Think of it as a last chance wildcard round. These Top 20 competitors progress to the Burnout Masters Round 1 session (mandatory). Burnout Masters Round 2 is optional for competitors who wish to better their Burnout Masters Round 1 score—it’s down to how you want to play your cards.
4) What is the cruise route?
We’ve added a cruise route into the event for the first part of Friday’s program. The route travels down the drag strip, up the return road to the burnout pad, where you may rip a straight-line skid along SKID STREET (only if you and your passenger are wearing the required safety clothing). After completing your skid, continue off the pad, through the tower, turn left, then turn right after the scrutineering shed and back along the staging lanes to start the lap again. You may complete this as many times as you wish until your tyres are close to popping—our staff will direct you back to the pits when required. No tyres are to be popped on SKID STREET, and no skids are permitted anywhere outside of SKID STREET. Speeds must be kept to no greater than 20 km/h on the cruise route.
5) What is the Tip-In Challenge?
The Tip-In Challenge is a dedicated chance for you to send it as hard as you can from the start of the brand new 70m entry chute onto the pad, and attempt the biggest tip-in you’ve ever done. Big sends equal big rewards—if you’re judged the top tip-in, you score $1,000 cash. No skids outside of the tip-in zone are permitted, and each entrant has up to two (2) attempts. The Tip-In Challenge will take place on Friday afternoon before Round 1 of the Burnanza Championship begins.
6) What can I do in the Power Pit?
The Power Pit is your mini pad where you can test your tune, shred tyres and have fun—but tyres are not allowed to pop. If your tyres pop, you must immediately stop and head straight back to your pits. If you pop tyres again during another Power Pit skid, you may face disciplinary action, so know your car and know when to stop.
7) Can I stay on site overnight?
Overnight passes are available for purchase only to entrants and their immediate crew. No spectators are allowed to stay on site and must vacate the venue at the end of each day.
8) Is there early access on Thursday?
Unfortunately, access is not permitted on Thursday other than for event staff, traders and authorised personnel. Gates open 6:00am Friday for all entrants.
